Project Brainy Commerce
Case
Brainy Commerce is a commerce and Merchant Services related website and needed a re-design. This project was born out of a contest at Sitepoint. A brief description of what the client was looking for:
An existing site needs to have an original design that is the same vein of the current website but yet needs to be different. The logo needs to stay the same, although the colors can be changed.
The original site felt kind of 'flat' to me so playing with gradients was essential to me. It gives graphics more body. Coming up with a color palette was the next challenge. Getting the right color tones is crucial and time consuming. Designing the layout is the final part and I kept it simple but interesting enough for the viewer to explore the site.
