One of the highlights of 2011 was definitely our trip to the Sonar 2011 festival in Barcelona, Spain. We didn’t realized it then but this was probably our last vacation trip together. Having twins coming in 2012 things will change around the house. I just came across the little video (after the jump) on my vimeo account.

The little vid is was just a try-out to play with video medium. I gotta say it came out pretty nicely. No fancy camera, just my iPhone 4. It ‘s kind of a stop motion video compiled of a bunch of images. Soundtrack provided by the Silversun Pickups. Another great band from Los Angeles.

I think the trip had an impact since the weather was simply gorgeous. Summer in the Netherlands afterwards was just horrible. Wet and cold. Something I hadn’t experienced for a long time as I just returned from sunny California. You can’t have it all… I wonder why. Tomorrow a big day: the gf is 28 weeks and another ultrasound is lined up at 8:15 in the morning. A few more days in 2011. Time flies, even when you’re not having that much fun…
